Gardarev Residency

I recently was awarded a residency with The Gardarev Center.

I am working on a literary portrait, called "Two Brownsvilles." My mother and father are from two different parts of Birmingham, Alabama--both are called Brownsville.

The project is about place-making and community and it is informed by my family archive of photographs and stories. Click here to learn a bit about my project, "Two Brownsvilles."
