I attended the Cooperstown Graduate Program from the Fall of 2004 until Spring of 2006.
The Cooperstown Graduate Program is the premiere program for the study of museums, public history, and archives in the country. It was founded in 1964 and inspired by people who wanted to see museums and historic sites reexamine their impact by embracing community-centered approach. The original program included folklore studies as well as conservation care and management.
I was interviewed for CGP's oral history program. My interviewer was a current CGP student, Jimmy Nunn, Jr. Jimmy is a brilliant young mind, an artist, and he also is a native of my home state--Alabama.
